  1. Reads journal entries and generates personalized follow-up questions and Reflection Insights.

  1. Generates structured reflections after journal entries, including themes, practical reflection points, and questions clients may bring into session.

  1. Produces weekly and monthly summaries for clinicians and clients

  1. Generates the Session Prep panel on the clinician's client Overview tab.

  1. Powers Draft Reply, Session Summary, and Proofread in the clinician Messages tab.

  1. Scans for language that may indicate distress or crisis and flags it for the clinician.

  1. Generates and continuously updates the Client Profile Summary.

What the AI doesn't do

  1. Diagnose — not ever, not partially, not as a suggestion.

  1. Prescribe or recommend medications.

  1. Provide crisis intervention. PathwayNotes is not a substitute for emergency services.

  1. Share your data with third parties for advertising or any non-clinical purpose.

  1. Replace a clinician's professional judgment on anything.
