When a clinician sets a client’s Treatment Approach, the
AI uses that framework across prompts, reflections, session prep, and the
Client Profile Summary. The modality helps shape what the AI pays attention to
and the kind of language it uses.
For example, a client on ACT may see language about
acceptance, values, willingness, and noticing thoughts without fighting them. A
client on CBT may see prompts that explore links between thoughts, feelings,
and behaviors. A client on DBT may receive language around regulation, skills,
and coping in the moment.
Multiple modalities can be active at the same time.
Priority techniques give the AI extra direction, so the most relevant clinical
focus shows up more consistently in prompts, reflections, and session prep.
The clinician controls these settings. If the AI feels too
broad or not clinically aligned, review the Treatment Approach and priority
techniques first.
