The 'Shared with Counselor' Toggle
Every entry
you submit is shared with your therapist by default. This toggle lets you make
individual entries private.
Open any past entry from My Journals and you'll see the
Shared with counselor toggle near the top. When on — the default — your
therapist can see that entry. When off, it's visible only to you. Turn it off
before you leave the entry. Your therapist won't be notified either way.
The most useful journaling tends to be the most honest
journaling. If you find yourself consistently keeping entries private, it may
be worth raising with your therapist — not because you have to, but because it
might be worth exploring.
