PathwayNotes First-Time Setup Guide for Clinicians

First-Time Setup — For Clinicians

When you sign in for the first time, you'll land on the Dashboard. Your first move is to head to the Client Registry — use the people icon in the left sidebar — and add your first client.

Don't rush past the Profile Jumpstart step when onboarding a client. This is what gives the AI enough clinical context to be genuinely useful from the very first interaction. The richer your intake notes, the better the AI performs for that client.

Once you've added a client and built their profile, configure their Treatment Approach and enable AI journaling. From that point, PathwayNotes takes over between sessions — prompting, reflecting, and surfacing insights in your dashboard before you meet again.

Tip: Run through the full onboarding flow with a test client before inviting real clients. Becoming familiar with every step makes the process faster and more consistent.
